How do I get to the smoking mule?

You can find us at 309 E. Glen Ave., Chamberlain, SD 57325–right in the American Creek Marina. Whether you’re rolling in by car or cruising up by boat, we’re easy to find and ready to serve up something delicious!

Can I park my camper or semi truck there?

Absolutely! We’ve got plenty of space for campers and semi-trucks to park in our ‘overflow parking’ to the EAST of our building. So, feel free to pull in, park your ass, and come grab a bite to eat.

What exit should i take off of I-90?

You can take either Exit 263 or Exit 265 to reach The Smoking Mule.

• From Exit 263: Head north into Chamberlain on Main Street. Continue through the one-way business district, and once the road opens back up, take the first right turn toward the water on Rodeo Drive. You’ll find us in the American Creek Marina.

• From Exit 265: Head north on South Dakota Highway 50 toward the river. Continue straight until you reach the stoplight at Main Street, then turn right. Follow Main Street through downtown, and once the road opens up past the business district, take the first right toward the water on Rodeo Drive. We’re located in the American Creek Marina.

Either way, just follow the smell of delicious barbecue—you’ll know you’re in the right place!
